artist’s book
13x21x1,5 cm‘CLUBNIGHT#1’, is an artist’s book on mixing and is part of the Moleskine Foundation Collection (Archive Number: XXIII_384). Inspired by the vibrant culture of European clubbing, it features twenty photographs from my personal archive, each set to music by a track produced and mixed by the electronic duo The Analogue Cops. The book consists of one sheet of paper folded in 48 accordion pages, which can be rearranged in different sequences like DJ mixes, and each photograph loses its original title and takes on the name of the song associated with it. Roberto Fassone’s artwork for the CD complements the book’s design.
